5th Grade Day

Project Your Best!

May 19, 2017

What is 5th Grade Day? It is a special day to reward our superstar students for

their hard work, dedication and effort throughout elementary school. It’s a

celebration of each student’s academic success as they take their final bows at

Black Elementary and move on to their next starring roll- Middle School!

Black Elementary wants to make 5th Grade Day a fun-filled, memorable day for

our amazing 5th graders. We can only do this with your help!

Please join us for our first planning meeting:

Tuesday, October 18 @ 9:30 in the Cafeteria

Only parent volunteers who have actively participated on a 5th grade day

committee, prior to May 19 will be allowed to attend 5th grade day.

There are many ways to volunteer, including evening and weekend volunteer

opportunities. Volunteer opportunities include: emailing committee members,

shopping for supplies, creating decorations, assisting at our fundraiser, etc. Your

committee chairperson will have more information regarding specific volunteer

opportunities.

Thank you for your support!

P.S. Don't Forget!

It's SLIME TIME for Our Administration!

Our Bearkat families received pledges from all across the country; raising funds from ALL 50 states, so our SUPER STAR Administration Team Assistant Principal Edwards, Assistant Principal Sullivan & Principal LeDoux were ALL such great sports to get slimed at school in front of the entire student body.
